We are opening WarmPath to the portfolio companies. Three portcos are already running it, and the results are good enough that I want every company in the portfolio on it. It is free for the portfolio for now. This page is what I would tell you on a call: what it is, what you get back, what I need from you, and what happens after.
You give us the companies you want to reach and the titles you go after. We find the people in those roles, then run them against your first-degree connections and, if you connect it, the people you email with. Our formulas and algorithms give each path a probability that one of your connections can introduce you to that person. What comes back is not a list of names; it is, for every target, the person on your side with the highest probability, the story behind that path, and the message to ask for the intro.
My goal is to put the whole portfolio's contacts to work. Each company's network stays its own. Where two portcos want to help each other reach an account, we connect those two networks, and only with both sides agreeing.
Four things, the next business day after your data arrives.
Five tabs. Dashboard: how many of your ICP companies have a path and at what probability. Reachable companies: every company you can get into, with its best probability and how many people you can reach there. ICP coverage: your full list, including the companies with no path yet, so you see the gap. Strong contacts and Moderate contacts: one row per person, sorted by probability, with the connection who opens the door, where they overlapped, and both LinkedIn profiles.
Ten slides that tell the same story for a room: what your network reaches today, by segment, the companies with the most people you can reach, and who those people are by seniority.
The same map inside the app: your connections, the targets grouped by company with the probability and the story for each, the pipeline to work them, and the inbox to ask for the intros.
For every path, the app drafts the message to your connection: who you want to meet, why they are the right person to ask, and the ask itself. You edit, you send, nothing goes out without you.
Real numbers from two portfolio runs.
12,840 people to find if every title existed at every firm; we found about 41,000, since most firms have more than one person per title
842 of the 1,070 firms with at least one person in the titles
63% of the people found reachable through one executive's network
From that 63%: 14% Strong, 13% Moderate, 18% Limited, 55% Minimum
441 of the 1,070 firms with a Strong or Moderate path (319 Strong, 122 Moderate), with 6,680 named people to open the conversation
202 people found in those roles, 170 reachable (84%)
6 of the 7 companies with a Strong or Moderate path
43 Strong paths and 56 Moderate paths
Results delivered the next business day
Onfleet and Impartner are running now. Every network added to a run moves the Limited and Minimum paths up and reaches the companies that had no path before.
Two rows from the Qount run, as they were sent, with the people's names left out.
Citrin Cooperman Advisors, the former Shepard Schwartz & Harris. The target is the Managing Partner. Your connection was a Partner at Shepard Schwartz & Harris from 1985 to 2012, and the target has been Managing Partner there since 1977. That is 27 years as partners at the same 25 person firm in Chicago. There is potential that they know each other: 98% probability, a Strong path.
Aprio. The target is a Technology Partner. Your connection was VP of Technology at Aprio from 2014 to 2021, and the target has been Technology Partner there since 1985. Almost 7 years together in the same technology function, both in Atlanta, both senior. There is potential that they know each other: 93% probability, a Strong path.
When you open the Excel, start with the Strong contacts tab. It is sorted by probability, so the best paths are at the top.
Three things. Send them to jose@salesavant.com, or reply to my email with them attached.
On LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data. Select Connections and request the archive. LinkedIn emails you a link in about 10 minutes; download it and send us the Connections CSV. That file has your first-degree connections with their company and title, and it is the base of the map.
The companies you want to reach, with the website domain of each one. Excel or CSV, anywhere from 100 to 1,000 companies. If you track a segment for them (lifecycle stage, industry, city, deal size), keep that column in; the results get grouped by it, so you see reach by segment.
The 5 to 15 titles you sell to at those companies, written the way they appear on LinkedIn. The platform expands each title into its wording variations, so one title covers its variants. As an example, one portco's basket was: Managing Partner, Partner, COO, Director of Operations, CIO, Chief Innovation Officer, VP of Innovation, Director of Firm Administration, Tax Manager, Senior Manager.
Do not have an ICP list yet? Send the companies you know you want and we start there, or sign up and let Quick Wins propose one from your website.
The next business day you get the Excel, the presentation, and a link to your WarmPath account with the map loaded.
Open the Strong contacts tab, pick 3 to 5 people you would reach out to, and tell us why those. That feedback is what we need most.
Connect your email. The app looks up the public profiles of the people you email with and maps those paths too.
Bring in the rest of the exec team, the board and sales. Each one sends their connections export and the map is re-run on the combined network.
From there we work the paths together: intro requests from the app, follow ups, and the pipeline.
We set a goal with each company for revenue assisted by these paths. That is pressure on us as much as on you. Tell us what you need to get there.
Your LinkedIn connections export.

Email metadata, only if you connect Gmail or Outlook. Never the body of a message.
Your ICP list and titles.
Contact anyone unless you send the message yourself.
Send an intro request without your vouch that you know the person.
Share one customer's network with another. Team networks are shared only inside your own team, by your choice.
Sell or resell your data.
Show your network to another portfolio company. Two networks are connected only when both companies agree.
Connections export, ICP list with domains, titles. Results the next business day.
